Samond's book report

Chronicles of Narnia
Chapter One

Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter had to go live with the professor and his name was Digory. So they looked around the house and Lucy came to this room that had a wardrobe in it. Then after she saw the wardrobe she went to the wardrobe to open it and the she walked to the back of it and she saw snow and trees. Then she saw a faun and his name was Mr.Tunmas and he asked Lucy did she want to come to his house for tea and she said yes. So they went to his house for tea.


Chapter Two


So as soon as they got to Mr.Tunmas’s house they drank tea and he talked about life in the forest and how the forest is. Lucy then said she has to go. Mr. Tunmas said that he worked for the White Witch to kidnap any kids that came to Narnia, and that is what he was doing to Lucy for the White Witch. Lucy said you can’t do that to me, because you’re a nice person.


Chapter Three

Lucy enters back into the room that she started from. She went to the others and said she has been gone for hours, but then her siblings said she had only been in fact gone for a couple of minutes. Lucy told them that she had went to a place called Narnia but they didn’t believe her. So Lucy broke down into tears and Edmund was no help. Edmund teased Lucy and called her called her a liar. At night time Lucy snuck into the wardrobe room and she then went into Narnia. Lucy went to go find Mr. Tunmas. Edmund went right behind Lucy and then called her name. Edmund then went into the back of the wardrobe and saw snow and trees. Edmund heard a bell ringing then he saw the White Witch.

Chapter Four

The Queen Witch asked Edmund did he wish to have a drink and something to eat. Edmund said yes he wanted some Turkish Delight. So the Queen Witch took her wand and magically made the Turkish Delight appear. Then after that Edmund wished that he had some more, because the witch had put a spell on the Turkish Delight that once you eat it you would want more and more of it. Then the Queen Witch had made a deal with Edmund that if he brought his sisters and brother to Narnia she would make Edmund prince of Narnia, and would make him some more Turkish Delight. Lucy came up behind Edmund right after the Queen Witch left, and ask him what he doing there in Narnia. She said she was surprised to see him there to. Lucy could not wait to tell the others about Edmund seeing Narnia also, because they would believe her since Edmund saw it to.

Chapter Five

Edmund and Lucy returned back to the wardrobe room then ran to Susan and Peter to tell them that Edmund saw Narnia also. Edmund said that he didn’t no what Lucy was talking about. Then he started teasing her. Lucy then broke down in tears. Later on at the professors house there were some tourist and visitors. All of the children (Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter) went into the wardrobe room to hide from the visitors and tourist.

Chapter Six

The children are waiting for the visitors and tourist to pass by with Mrs. Mcready. The children go farther and farther in the back of the wardrobe and find themselves in Narnia. They were cold so Peter told them all to grab a coat from the wardrobe. They visited Mr. Tunmas house. The door was ripped off of the hinges, the floor was wet, and the house was a mess with everything on the floor. Peter finds a piece of paper nailed to the floor that was from the Queen Witch that said Mr. Tunmas is now a prisoner of mine because he didn’t follow the duty that I told him to do which was if any kid that was not from Narnia he would kidnap.

Chapter Seven

Peter, Edmund, Susan, and Lucy see something moving in the bushes. They didn’t no what it was, and whatever it was it was telling them to come here. It had brown hair and once it came out of the bushes they saw that it was a beaver. So then the beaver appeared an invited them all over for dinner. Edmund saw the hills that were in front of the Queen Witch’s palace so he then snuck off away from the others to the Queen’s palace. The beavers and the other children didn’t notice that Edmund was gone.

Chapter Eight

The beavers tell the children that the witch probably turned Mr. Tunmas into stone. Then the beavers tell the children that Aslan is coming. The two daughters of Eve and the sons of Adam are going to be sitting upon the thrones at the palace, signifying the end of the Queens death. The children have to meet Aslan at the stone table before the Queen comes in twenty minutes.

Chapter Nine

Edmund forgot his coat when he snuck off, and it was freezing cold. He went to the Queen’s palace and he sees stone statues and he sees one that looks like a lion. So Edmund imagines the stone lion to be Aslan the lion. Edmund walked over a wolf that he thought was a stone statue wolf, and the wolf jumped at him. He said the queen was expecting him so the wolf leads him down the hall where the queen is. When Edmund saw the queen she got mad because he came without his siblings.


Chapter Ten

As the three children begin on their journey they keep near the river bank. Then the beaver leads them into a hole to stay the night in. In the morning Lucy heard bells it was the Father Christmas then he gave them presents. With the presents he gave them hot tea. The beaver says “let’s get on the move”.

Chapter Eleven

The witch takes Edmund on the sledge with her. They are on for hours and hours. Then the snow starts to thaw out and it becomes spring. Then Edmund ends up with his hands tied up behind his back being whipped by the dwarf pulling the sledge, and the dwarf the Queen, and Edmund knew that Aslan was nearer.

Chapter Twelve

The witch, Edmund, and the dwarf admire the current scene: kingfishers, bluebells, flowering currant, hawthorn bushes and tall Elms. The children and the beavers finally reach the Stone Table in the middle of the open hill top along with a pavilion. It has a banner with a red line on it. Lucy pleads Aslan to save her brother Edmund and whether something can be done. Aslan says “all shall be done”. Sadly states it would be harder than they think. When Peter arrives at the pavilion, he sees Naiads and Dryads running scared. The children are being attached by a wolf. Susan and Lucy climb upon a tree behind them to get away from the wolf. Peter is able to seize the opportunity to fatally strike the wolf with his sword. Then Aslan tells Peter never forget to wipe off your sword.

Chapter Thirteen

The Queen says the proficy can be fulfilled if only three children were to sit freely upon the four thrones in Cair Paravel. The dwarf kicks Edmund. The witch tells Edmund she turns her enemies into stone. Edmund has been rescued from the queen. The witch says she will be safe with her wand around. Afterwards a bull challenges the queen who replies deep magic. Aslan calls everyone to fall back because he wants to speak with the witch alone.

Chapter Fourteen

The children hide behind bushes, and Aslan is tied to the stone table. The witch says “we have to cut off his mane first”. So her beast did what she told them to do. After that they started to bite Aslan .Susan and Lucy looked up from behind the bushes and started to cry. Then the queen and her beast ran away. In the morning Lucy took her bottle of healing drops and drip one drop in Aslan’s mouth then Aslan came back to life.




Chapter Fifteen

Then the stone table is cracked in half and Aslan is gone. They thought the enemies took him, but Aslan appeared out of nowhere. Afterwards Aslan plays with the girls then he roars as the girls plug their ears with there fingers. Then the girls go on a ride with Aslan through Narnia.

Chapter Sixteen

Aslan goes to the witch’s palace and breathes life into the statues setting them free from the witches curse. He frees all his people including Mr. Tunmas. Peter’s army is fewer than numbers compared to the witch’s army. The battle field is covered with statues thanks to the witch’s wand. Then the witch is horrified at the sight of the very much alive Aslan.

Chapter Seventeen

The witch is dead. What remains of her army either gives up without a fight or runs away with fear. Peter and Aslan shake hands. Peter tells Aslan of Edmunds bravery, and how he had the sense to break the witch’s wand. Edmund was wounded in the process. Aslan makes Edmund a knight on the battlefield. Edmund had to apologize to Lucy. Peter becomes known as “Peter the Magnificent”. Susan becomes “Susan the Gentle”. Edmund is called “Edmund the Just”. Lucy is “Lucy the Valiant”. They find the lamppost. They don’t remember the initial adventure into Narnia. They find themselves back where they started hiding from Mrs. Mcready, the visitors, and the tourist.
